Episode #148: The TRUTH about TRT (Testosterone Replacement Therapy)!! Do You REALLY Need TRT? Is Testosterone use "dangerous"? What blood markers should you check? Is it "cheating" and more!! Testosterone has quickly become the most talked about, misunderstood and polarizing hormone on the planet. Average testosterone levels are at an all time low WORLDWIDE! Not only is this a growing problem for men, but also women, especially when going through menopause. There is fear, misunderstanding, misuse and lack of proper care making it a prevalent problem when it comes to PROPER dosage, treatment and type of testosterone used. In this episode I discuss myths and realities of testosterone and TRT therapy. I have spent over 15 years working with clients, practitioners, clinics and drug companies, studying and learning the complexities and science behind these truths and misconceptions. Year over year, I have monitored, coached and also been on therapy myself and have worked to help everyone improve their quality of life in the right capacity. Testosterone deficiency can destroy quality of life but misuse can create new problems that can be very problematic, so getting through the misinformation and "broscience" is imperative! My next focus is on blood panels. The monitoring of bloodwork, knowing which numbers to look at and what key warning signs are is often times missed or worse, not monitored. I dive into the key numbers and markers to track and watch! I move into what "healthy" numbers look like for men and women, explaining the complexities of each individual and the need to focus on person to person as opposed to chasing a non existent "one size fits all" approach. We then move into the role lifestyle plays into our testosterone levels and what kind of changes we can make to help optimize our levels. I finish with different types of testosterone, how to dial in dosing and long term usage. My goal is to teach everyone, without click bait or fear mongering, keeping it to relevancy and importance. Episode #147 Featuring Dr. Anthony Balduzzi! The Fit Father Project! Conventional vs. Non Conventional, Food as Medicine, Aging Gracefully, Bodybuilding the RIGHT way and more! It was an honor and a pleasure to spend a day with my close friend Ben Azadi for our recent interview. Episode #144 Featuring Dan Pardi! The CHIEF Health Officer at QUALIA LIFE! Inside the WORLD OF SUPPLEMENT DEVELOPMENT! Episode #140 Featuring Lexi Noel! Prioritizing REAL FOOD! Lexi and I share a lot of similarities especially when it comes to food... From the struggles with an eating disorder, to our love of sharing knowledge and information to others and both having the understanding that FOOD IS MEDICINE. Lexi is on a journey to teach the world about the importance of eating real food and how to develop the right kind of relationship we all should have with food. Lexi may be young in age but she is well ahead of her time with knowledge as well as experience with nutrition. Episode #132 Featuring Dr. David Rizik! The Evolution of Cardiology! Overcoming cholesterol myths and facts, the TRUTH about conventional medicine, Testosterone polarization, Heart Metrics and more! Episode #130 Featuring Ulrich Dempfle, CO-FOUNDER of Carol Bike! STOP OVERTRAINING! How to maximize your results in a fraction of the time!
