On October 3, 2024, 28-year-old Broadway performer Zelig Williams disappeared from Columbia, South Carolina. He was last seen by his mother, Kathy Williams, when he left her house around 9:50 that morning. After he failed to return home, Kathy filed a missing person’s report with the Richland County Sheriff’s Department. The next night, Zelig’s car was discovered at the Palmetto Trailhead with some of his belongings inside. Despite extensive searches, no trace of Zelig has been found, and the investigation remains active. Dateline’s Josh Mankiewicz speaks with Zelig’s loved ones and Investigator JP Smith of the Richland County Sheriff’s Department. Zelig Williams is about 5’9” and 175 lbs., with brown eyes. It was the early morning hours of May 20, 2017, and 15-year-old Sophie Reeder should have been in bed. Instead, she had slipped out of her house in the River Oaks neighborhood of Fort Lauderdale and walked off into the hot, humid night. Two security cameras recorded some of Sophie’s movements over the next several hours. One recorded her walking past a neighbor’s house as she started her journey; another recorded her walking along a busy road near her home at 2 a.m. In that video, a police cruiser passes the 5-foot-1, 100-pound teenager and doesn’t slow down or stop. Sophie is seen wearing a short black dress, high-top sneakers, a leopard-print fake fur coat, and headphones. They are the last known images of her. Seven weeks after Sophie’s disappearance, police executed a search warrant at an apartment in the area where her phone last pinged. Three convicted felons were staying at that address. The FLPD is offering a reward of up to $25,000 for credible information that leads to the recovery of Sophie Reeder. On November 4, 1980, 44-year-old Nancy Snow boarded a flight to Baltimore from St. Louis, Missouri, where she had spent several months working on Gene McNary’s U.S. Senate campaign. That night she went to a party in Baltimore; the next morning she had breakfast with the party’s host. Afterward, a man who was housesitting for Nancy apparently picked her up at a hotel, and they drove off together. Nancy Snow hasn’t been seen or heard from since then, and her disappearance is one of the D.C. area’s oldest unsolved cases. More than 44 years later, her three daughters are convinced they know who is responsible for Nancy’s disappearance. Sixteen-year-old Tiffany Reid vanished from Shiprock, New Mexico, on the short walk to Shiprock Northwest High School, on May 17, 2004. A few days later, some of her belongings were discovered scattered along the side of the highway in Arizona, about an hour west of her home. Dateline’s Josh Mankiewicz talks to Tiffany’s older sister, Deiandra Reid, about the long journey for answers and the obstacles her family has faced in the search for Tiffany. Josh also speaks with Tiffany Jiron, Executive Director of the Coalition to Stop Violence Against Native Women, who discusses the murdered Indigenous women crisis, and shares information about a new step New Mexico has taken to help when Native Americans go missing. On May 5, 2024, Roy Whited did not show up to preach his Sunday service at DeRossett Church of Christ in Sparta, Tennessee. When church members went to his house to check on the 64-year-old, they found his truck parked in the driveway. His sermon had been prepared and his phone was in the charger, but there was no sign of Roy. Investigators soon learned no one had seen or heard from the popular pastor since two days earlier. Extensive searches failed to uncover a single trace of Roy, and there has been no activity on his bank accounts. Teekah Lewis was last seen on January 23, 1999, at New Frontier Lanes, a bowling alley in Tacoma, Washington. The 2-year-old was with her mother, younger sister Tameeka, and other family and friends. Teekah had been playing a game in the arcade area when her mother stepped away briefly to take her turn bowling. When she turned around, Teekah was gone. On April 13, 2024, 37-year-old Danielle Lopez vanished in the Pine Barrens of New Jersey while camping with her boyfriend. Her mother, Sue Quackenbush, knew something was wrong when Danielle stopped answering her texts and calls. Sue reported her daughter missing to the New Jersey State Police. Investigators scoured the forest in southern New Jersey and eventually located Danielle’s car on Lost Lane, but found no sign of her. The case remains open and active. Dateline’s Josh Mankiewicz speaks with Danielle’s mother, a New Jersey private investigator who is working the case, and Monica Caison and Lisa Valentino from the Cue Center for Missing Persons. Danielle Lopez is 5’4”, and at the time of her disappearance weighed 135 lbs. She has brown hair, and green eyes. Danielle would be 38 years old today. CUE is offering a $5,000 reward for information that leads investigators to Danielle. The reward is in effect until July 31, 2025. Terrence Woods grew up in Maryland and was working with a television production crew in a remote area of central Idaho when he was last seen on October 5, 2018. Witnesses told sheriff’s deputies that as they were wrapping up for the day, Terrence, 26, abruptly ran down a steep embankment into the dark. Melanie James, 21, was last seen in the spring of 2014 in Farmington, New Mexico. Melanie’s sister, Melissa, saw her walking down the street with an unidentified man on April 20. Days later, police discovered Melanie’s purse and duffel bag in an alleyway in Farmington, but saw no sign of Melanie. Shy’Kemmia Pate was last seen near her home in Unadilla, Georgia, on September 4, 1998. She was 8 years old. Several people reported seeing her that evening in the neighborhood. Shy’Kemmia would be 34 years old today. When she disappeared, she was wearing a neon green Atlanta Braves jersey with red lettering, Levi’s jeans, and had a leg brace. Tyler Goodrich left his home in Lincoln, Nebraska on November 3, 2023. On the night of his disappearance, Tyler and his husband, Marshall Vogel, were arguing, and Marshall called 911. Home security video shows a figure running from their house minutes after the call. Dateline’s Josh Mankiewicz speaks with Marshall, as well as several of Tyler’s family members and close friends. UPDATE: On March 8, 2025, remains later identified as Tyler were found about 967 yards from his house in a wooded area previously searched by volunteers. The Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office believes Tyler’s body had been there more than a year. They confirmed Tyler died by suicide. Marcus Rutledge disappeared on June 8, 1998, in Nashville, Tennessee. He was 23 years old and had been attending Tennessee State University. Nearly a month later, Marcus’s car, a red Plymouth Neon, was found abandoned about 20 miles from his apartment in Nashville. 25-year-old Arelie Garcia was last seen leaving her Salinas, California apartment on September 22, 2022. Later that day, Arelie’s bright red Honda Accord was found abandoned in Big Sur on Highway 1. UPDATE: In November of 2023, Dee Ann Warner’s husband was charged with her murder. Dale Warner was also charged with evidence tampering in the case. In August 2024, Dee’s body was found on property owned by her husband. Her death was ruled a homicide. In 2026, after multiple delays, the murder trial of Dale Warner began. He was found guilty of second-degree murder and tampering with evidence in Dee’s death. Josh Mankiewicz reports. On June 6, 2020, 65-year-old Lydia Abrams disappeared from her ranch near Idyllwild, California. Left behind were her phone, purse, keys, wallet and truck. Dateline’s Keith Morrison sits down with Dia’s son, Clinton Abrams, her friend Julie Stanford and Keith Harper, who describes himself as Dia’s fiancé. While those closest to her have different theories about what may have happened to Dia, one thing they all agree on is that she would never have left behind her animals, including her beloved dog, Ruby. 19-year-old Logan Schiendelman was last seen at his grandmother’s house in Tumwater, Washington on May 19, 2016. Logan’s car, a black 1996 Chrysler Sebring, was found the next day, abandoned on Interstate 5 just south of Olympia. His phone, wallet and driver’s license were in the vehicle.
